This course develops foundational skills in describing, analysing, and interpreting health data for evidence-based nursing. Topics include data types, sampling, summary statistics, probability, normality, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing (t-tests, χ², ANOVA), correlation, simple linear regression, and basics of reliability/validity. Students will apply statistical reasoning to real nursing scenarios using statistical software and clear, ethical reporting.
